Vision Correction for Presbyopia
Corrective options for presbyopia include spectacles and contact lenses, but more importantly a specific optical prescription from an optometrist will be necessary to correct for close-range vision. In many instances, far and intermediate-range vision should also be corrected. It is also important to use the right choice of spectacle lenses for your specific visual requirement, particularly for difficulties whilst reading, doing computer work and for many other specific occupations.
Corrective Options for Presbyopia:
- Reading Glasses (Single Vision)
- Bifocals
- Progressives (Varifocals)
- Multifocal Contact Lenses
- Presbyopia Management is included as part of the Standard Eye Examination.
IGARD are able to customise an optical prescription for your specific visual condition, visual requirement and choice of lenses that they would prescribe and dispense.
